The Workflow Management System is a database extender and handles, depending on the data, certain actions, e.g. checking of limits, start of calculations at given deadlines and reacting according to results.

To create a workflow a graphical interface based on ObjectCAD technology is used. Here, predefined CAD blocks represent a variety of actions. Navigation and zooming through a workflow is easy and comfortable by using predefined functions. The different possibilities of finding and marking single elements set the user’s focus quickly to searched nodes or spots needing attention.
